The San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport is continuing the process of developing the area southeast of CDF Station 21, between HWY 227 and taxiway A, as envisioned in the Airport Master Plan. In the Fall of 2005, in conjunction with the move-out of the Woods Humane Society, the Airport completed construction of an access road, site grading, and other infrastructure improvements such as drainage and utilities. Along with the now completed construction of 65 t-hangars this work will facilitate the construction of a future, privately funded, FBO development. In support of the construction of the approximately 65 t-hangars, the Airport initiated a hangar waiting list. It will facilitate the orderly assignment of the t-hangars. If you wish to be included in the Hangar Waiting List please follow the Hangar Waiting List Application Procedures below. 

Hangar Waiting List Procedures
 

  1. Review the "Policies and Procedures for Developing the Hangar Waiting List at San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport (SBP)" and Figures A, B, C, 48 Foot Bi-Fold Door and Hangar Layout Plan. The layout plan indicates the hangar numbering, and assigned hangars.

  2. Review the sample Aircraft Storage Permit.

  3. Review County Code Title 24 - Airport Rules and Regulations.

  4. Complete the Hangar Waiting List Application form, including signature, and if necessary the Multiple Owner Form.

  5. Attach a check for $275.00 ($25 non-refundable) made out to "San Luis Obispo County Airport".

  6. Applications may be dropped off at the Airport Management office during normal business hours (Mon - Fri 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.). To mail in the application use the following address:
